If Internet was a country?

If Internet was a country?

Economically if Internet was a country, in 2016 it will be one of the most powerful country in the world , just after USA, China, Japan, India and Germany.

Studies show in 2010 there was 1.9 billion Internet users vs in 2016 there will be 3 billion Internet users! If Internet was a country their economy in 2016 would be $4.2 billion vs 2.3 billion in 2010.

The actual easy access to Internet supported with smart phones, tablets and laptops help massively Internet to become one of the most powerful ‘country’ in the world. This growth is booming too with the expansion of the Social Media (Facebook, MSN Messenger, Flickr, FourSquare, etc…)

In 2016, U.K should be ahead with 12.4% (GDP), South Korea (8%), Europe (5,7%), USA (5,4%), Canada (3,6%). China, where the number of people using internet are booming should have 6,9% GDP!

Conclusion: It’s a bit like we are all living in one same country calling Internet.  You will always hear me saying Internet is the future and the place to be, now with those statistics I know I am always right!
