The first Google tablet

According to industrial sources of Digitimes website, specializing in the technology news in Asia, Google will launch it’s first tactile tablet in May 2012, manufactures by Asus Taiwan.

Until now, the tablets are equipped with Android‘s system were fabricated directly by manufacturers, without Google agreement. The first Google’s tablet would be made in close cooperation with the manufacturer, who would benefit from software innovations with first-Android the model already used for the range of smartphone Nexus.

According to Digitimes, the Google’s tablet would cost between $199 and $249 and would be fitted with a screen of 7 inches diagonally.

The tablet developed by Google and Asus is also the first product to integrate the new Google ecosystem Play. Google Play is an unification of all Google shops included Android Market, Google Music and Google eBookstore.
